Best quality for me that someone else could have: caring.
Best quality for me to have: Friendliness

I picked these because I believe that everything's better/easier if you have someone to share it with, and if I can't figure it out, maybe they can.

I think the best quality for a person to have is honesty because then you can know what's going on, whatever it is. I think all the other emotions tend to come after that because you can be as kind and caring and friendly as you want be, but knowing what a situation really is or how that other person really is helps you to know whether you want to be friendly and kind to them or not.

the best quality is purposeful. (dict?) a person who lives with a purpose is content with enduring anything, and is not afraid to try new things, endure hardships, and break their limits.
